Frankincense or frankincense was once more expensive than gold. Even today, the fragrance is loved for its stimulating and comforting effect. The oil is obtained from the resin of the Boswellia, an evergreen resinous tree. The scent is soft but unique: resinous and spicy, slightly lemony with a coniferous undertone.
